We're very excited to announce our partnership with Schulz Bräu Brewing Company to bring Steinholding to the South and we're going big with a Steinholding tournament series that spans the great state of Tennessee and culminates with the State Championship Finals on October 14th, 2023 at Schulz Bräu in Knoxville, TN! The Schulz Bräu Oktoberfest beer will be flowing, and the winner of the men's and women's 2023 finals will be crowned the first ever Tennessee Steinholding State Champions and will each receive a $500 cash prize!
There are a limited number of spots available for the finals and you'll need to compete at one of our Qualifying Venue partner locations (listed below) to qualify for the finals and get your shot at the big prizes.
1. We're partnering with breweries, bars, and festivals across Tennessee to host preliminary qualifying rounds at these venues. Each location will be sending the winner of their men's competition and women's competition to represent them at Schulz Bräu for the State Championship Finals. The different venues are listed below along with the dates and times for each competition. If your favorite TN venue isn't hosting a competition, tell them to get registered so you can join the fun!

2. You can compete at Schulz Bräu's Oktoberfest and battle through the Schulz Bräu local qualifying tournament! Competitors who post the best times during their Knoxville Oktoberfest preliminary competitions on September 17th (4:30pm), September 19th (9:00pm), September 21st (6:30pm), September 22nd (7:00pm), September 23rd (Time TBD), September 24th (7:00pm), September 27th (8:00pm), September 28th (7:30pm), September 29th (7:30pm), October 1st (7:00pm), October 4th (8:00pm), and October 6th (9:00pm) will all be invited back to the local qualifying round finals on October 7th at 6:30pm to go head to head. The man and woman who emerge victorious will earn the right to compete in the State Championship Finals the following week with home field advantage!
U.S. Steinholding Association Official Steinholding Rules will be used. There will be a team of official USSA judges at the finals, so study up on the rules and spend some time training to make sure your form is clean, or you won't last long in the Championship Round!

We'll be announcing more locations throughout the summer and fall so check back and follow us on FB and IG for updates. Remember- these venues will have limited spaces available for their qualifying rounds, so show up early and register in advance with the venue if you can!
