Now that we've launched our National Championship, we know that there are great Steinholders out there in states where we haven't set up a State Championship Tournament yet, so in addition to our State Championship Tournaments, we're opening up another pathway to participate in the National Finals. A limited number of spots are available for venues to host their own independent qualifying competition and sponsor competitors to represent their location! We're calling this our U.S. Steinholding Association National Championship Wild Card Competition Program.
Your location's representatives (one man and one woman) will be invited to compete against the best Steinholders in the world at our first ever National Championship at Moerlein Lager House in Cincinnati, OH, on November 22nd, 2025! We'll reimburse each of your two competitors up to $500 for their airfare or personal car mileage, and we'll provide two nights of hotel accommodations (for November 21st and November 22nd) near the National Championship location.
To make sure the Steinholders at your event have the most beautiful possible steins to compete with, we'll provide thirty (30) U.S. Steinholding Association official Masskrug-style steins for you. You'll also get two Premium entries into our USSA Judging Certification program, so two members of your team can have access to our judging training resources, and complete our official certification to show that they're ready to judge high level competitions. You can have extra Standard Judging Certification entries for more members of your team as well, so if you want to have an even larger pool of judges, just let us know and we'll hook you up. You'll also receive all of the benefits that our Member Venue locations receive (you can see the full list here).
What do you have to do to participate? We're trying to keep it simple- here are the highlights:
