Lehigh Valley SteelStacks Oktoberfest Steinholding Championship Tournament!

U.S. Steinholding Association is Partnering with SteelStacks Oktoberfest, ArtsQuest, Sam Adams, and local breweries and venues for Lehigh Valley Regional Steinholding Competition Series!

We are very excited to announce our partnership with the ArtsQuest SteelStacks Oktoberfest to bring Steinholding to PA's Lehigh Valley and we're going big with a competition tournament that spans the Valley and culminates with the Championship Round on October 13th at 5pm at SteelStacks! The winner of the men's and women's competitions will be crowned the 2019 SteelStacks Lehigh Valley Steinholding Champions and will each receive a $500 cash-money prize, a $100 gift card to Molly's Irish Grille and Sports Pub, and a sweet day-trip for a private tour of the Boston Sam Adams Brewery (includes one night of lodging nearby; you're responsible for getting yourself to Boston).

There are a limited number of spots available for the finals and you'll need to qualify to be able to get your shot at the big prizes.

How do I qualify for the Finals? Great question! There are two ways:

1. We're partnering with breweries and bars across the Lehigh Valley to host preliminary qualifying rounds at these venues. Each venue will be sending the winner of their men's competition and women's competition to represent them at the SteelStacks Championship Round. The different venues are listed below along with the dates and times for each competition.

OR

2. You can compete every hour, on the hour, at the SteelStacks Oktoberfest during festival hours (aside from the opening and closing hour) on October 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, and 12th. The best times will be recorded on the leaderboard and the competitors with the overall top times will be invited back to compete in the Final Championship Round.

What are the rules?

U.S. Steinholding Association Official Steinholding Rules will be used. There will be a team of judges at the finals, so study up on the rules and spend some time training to make sure your form is clean, or you won't make it far in the Championship Round!

Alright, I'm in. So where can I compete?!

Check out the initial venue list below. We'll be announcing more soon! These venues will have limited amount of spaces available for competitors, so register in advance with the brewery if you can!
