To make it as easy as possible for you to compete with no distractions, we compiled all of the details and FAQs for finalists who are participating in the Vermont Steinholding State Championship Finals!

Free parking is available in the Bierhall parking lot.

There are no tickets required and no cover charge for friends and family to come watch the competition, but since this is a popular event, von Trapp recommends that you make a reservation to ensure your group gets a table. You can reserve a table online here.
Competitors are expected to check in at 2:30pm.
There will be a check-in area for competitors- you can ask a von Trapp staff member or contact Bob Schwartz at 617-799-3127.
Since all competitors have qualified at one of our registered tournament locations, the State Finals is a single round, winner-takes-all Steinholding match with separate men's and women's divisions.
There will be a kids competition at 3:00pm to get everyone in the Steinholding mood!
Champions will receive a voucher for a one-night stay in the world-class accommodations of the beautiful Trapp Family Lodge, including breakfast and a 3-course dinner for two at the von Trapp Bierhall, a prize valued at over $600, plus this year's State Champions will ALSO receive a full Oktoberfest outfit provided by our partners at BavariaTrachten.com where you can use the discount code STEINHOLDING to get 10% off any purchase all season long!
As a pre-qualified, confirmed finalist, there is no cost to you to participate in the State Finals competition.
You don't need to bring anything other than you ID and your iron will to become a champion. The competition steins will be provided to you by the venue, and will be yours to keep as a souvenir of the competition, win or lose.
In the event of rain, the competition will still be held on the same day, but it will be moved indoors or under a festival tent.
