To make it as easy as possible for you to compete with no distractions, we compiled all of the details and FAQs for finalists who are participating in the North Carolina Steinholding State Championship Finals!

Gilde Brewery, 3530 Dewitt Lane, Charlotte, NC 28217
Competitors are asked to check in at 4:30pm.
When you arrive, ask the front desk staff where to report to. Your point of contact will be Gilde's Brewmaster, Willi Wallstab. If you need assistance or can't find him, you can call him at 980-895-1217.
There is a parking lot in the back of Gilde with limited parking spots. There is plenty of parking on the surrounding streets and a huge parking lot at Dewitt Ln's intersection with Freeland Ln (Scaleybark Station Parking), 0.2 miles away (a 3 minute walk to the brewery).
This is a family friendly event, with all ages admitted. There will be food and drink specials, including Gilde's Oktoberfest Märzen lager!
The event is free to attend, no tickets are required! If you are coming with a larger group, reservations are recommended though, as this is expected to be a popular event!
Since all competitors have qualified at one of our registered tournament locations, the State Finals is a single round, winner-takes-all Steinholding match with separate men's and women's divisions.
Official U.S. Steinholding Association Competitions Rules will be enforced at the State Finals. Make sure you review them before the match so that you're ready to compete correctly: USSA Official Rules

As a pre-qualified, confirmed finalist, there is no cost to you to participate in the State Finals competition.
You don't need to bring anything other than your ID and your iron will to become a champion. The competition steins will be provided to you by the venue, and will be yours to keep as a souvenir of the competition, win or lose.
In the event of rain, the competition will still be held on the same day, but the competition and check-in will be moved inside or under a festival tent!
